The 2024 AMCA British Motocross Championship supported by Holab Concepts and Joov Sports Products will tick off another round in its series this weekend. For round five it’s just a one-day event and three moto’s apiece as the very daunting Hawkstone Park provides the title chasers with what promises to be a very stern challenge!  

2024 AMCA British MX Championship R4 at Lower Drayton

During any motocross Championship season, it just about always odds on that at least one round of your chosen series will ultimately be affected by adverse weather and difficult track conditions. And, that’s just what happened during round 4 of the AMCA British Motocross Championship held at Lower Drayton last weekend.

As the 2024 AMCA British Motocross Championship enters round 4 this weekend and it’s certainly still all to play for in just about all of the title races. Providing the venue for the latest double header of action is Lower Drayton in Staffordshire situated just off junction 13 of the M6, postcode ST19 5RE.

2024 AMCA British MX Championship R3 at Warmingham Lane

 Supported by Holab Concepts and Joov Sports Products, the 2024 AMCA British Motocross Championship chase visited Cheshire recently. Round 3 was hosted by the Middlewich MXC who had prepared the Warmingham Lane circuit to perfection and with the weather even playing ball it helped ensure two full days of exciting action.

2024 AMCA British MX Championship R2 at Bromsberrow

On a Bromsberrow surface expertly prepared by PCMX Tracks/Uley MXC, it was time to go racing at round 2 of the AMCA British Motocross Championship supported by Holab Concepts and Joov Sports Products. And, just like the opener on Easter weekend, not only was the going good but also the weather played ball enabling another big entry to strut their stuff! 

Bromsberrow ready to roar for round 2!

It’s another sand-based track for round 2 of the 2024 AMCA British Motocross Championship this weekend, April 20^th/21^st. Bromsberrow, near Ledbury is the chosen venue and, in this series, supported by Holab Concepts and Joov Sports Products, hopefully it’s going to be another two days of hot action!.

2024 AMCA British MX Championship R1 at Preston Docks

On an Easter weekend when the offroad fixture list was severely decimated by the recent deluge of wet weather, there was to be one very notable survivor as the AMCA got their 2024 British Motocross Championship up and running. Selecting Preston Docks MX as the intended venue for round one proved to be an absolute masterstroke and incredibly wise as the sandy, Lancashire track was in prime condition along with it crucially also providing predominantly hard standing pits parking. When you then throw into the mix a big entry list boosted by a whole host of wild-card entries hungry for some race action, all the ingredients were in place for a red-hot early season thriller! And, that’s just what proceeded to unfold in a series which this year has received additional support from Holab Concepts and Joov Sports Products.

The 2024 title chase starts here!

The gate drops this weekend at Preston Docks MX, Lancashire as the 2024 AMCA British Motocross Championship fires into action. Supported by Holab Concepts and Joov Products, the list of registered riders shows major changes and a lot of unfamiliar faces! So, in what appears to be the dawning of a new era, there’s going to be new Champions crowned in just about every class which means it’s also sure to be very interesting! 

2023 Weymouth Beach Motocross

With the sun popping up over the Dorset horizon, the Purbeck MXC went to work and complete their construction of the circuit for the 2023 Weymouth Beach Motocross. By the time that sun had settled in position, thousands of spectators were already arriving in readiness for the action that was about to unfold.

It's Weymouth sand shifting time!

It’s time for some serious sand shifting this coming Sunday, October 15^th as the Purbeck MXC, in conjunction with the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club host the annual AMCA Beach motocross event. Thousands of spectators will converge on Weymouth and line the Esplanade of this lovely Dorset coastal resort to watch the action unfold and it’s FREE! Being a charity event though, the Lions club will throughout the day be making bucket collections to accept any generous donations whilst you can also purchase special souvenir programmes with all proceeds going to the nominated local worthwhile causes.

We are the 2023 AMCA British MX Champions!

After six months of mud, sweat and gears, the destination of the 2023 AMCA British Motocross Championship titles have finally been decided. During the final round promoted by the Cheltenham Spa MXC and held on a Brookthorpe track that was super tacky and very raceable, there was to be hardly any major movements in the hunt for titles bar one very notable exception!!

So, this is it then, as the four moto’s due to be contested at Brookthorpe this weekend will ultimately decide the destination of the 2023 AMCA British Motocross Championship titles. And, with a maximum of 200 points still on offer, mathematically it’s all still to play for!

2023 AMCA British MX Championship R7 at Bromsberrow

Date: 12 September 2023

With quite a major contrast in weather conditions over the two days of the latest AMCA British Motocross Championship action held at Bromsberrow, it was to prove to be a stern test of a rider’s fitness levels and desire to succeed. On day one the entry was faced by a blue-sky scene with the mercury rapidly rising and creating energy sapping temperatures whilst day two although being cooler was then hit by a period of thundery rain which changed the dynamics of the track. Despite that inconsistent weather though, the racing throughout was red -hot with the organising Uley MXC doing a superb job in preparing a revamped circuit, so well done to them!

It’s the penultimate round of the 2023 AMCA British Motocross Championship this weekend with the Uley MXC hosting the action at a revamped Bromsberrow circuit. There’s a total of four moto’s spread over two day’s for the riders to dispute as they go in search of that final glory.
