The most important thing before you start racing is, have you had any experience on a track, we are a race organisation and riders who join us should have some experience of riding on a track. Practice tracks are a good start for a beginner or a Motocross Experience. We have joined forces with Yamaha to offer Motocross Experiences for people who have never ridden before, you can check this out via the following link:- YAMAHA MX EXPERIENCE If you have had experience then you are ready to race, all information on how to get started with the AMCA is below. All riders need to read and understand the Rulebook and the Flag Instructions for on track, you can download these below.

Licence and Club

All Motocross Licenced riders need to be with a Motocross Club, we have specific areas across the country with clubs, you need to contact your nearest club and ask them about membership, you can find a club via the following link:- FIND A CLUB. Your licence will not be activated until you have joined your club.

There are 2 different types of membership:-

1) Working Club Member - you join you club for a small fee and help out at work parties and provide a marshal for the day, most clubs run 2 events on average

2) Pay to Ride - You pay a higher fee and do not do anything, the higher fee is to help pay for workers and marshals in place of you

You can apply for your licence vai the following link:- APPLY FOR A LICENCE
