2026 AMCA British MX Championship R6 at Seven Hills

Run to the hills was the order for the weekend but which one? For the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship riders it meant that they faced a very big dilemma and had to answer the question, should they go to the mega MXGP at Foxhills or instead get on their bikes and race at Seven Hills! With a maximum 100 Championship points potentially obtainable by racing in what was the penultimate round of the AMCA series, a rider could significantly improve their position in the standings and maybe even fire themselves right back into title contention! And, indeed by choosing Seven Hills over Foxhills there was come Sunday night to be some notable movers and shakers to report in the battle for 2026 AMCA honours!

Great racing which saw battles continually raging right throughout the pack in just about every moto, all made possible by a Brookthorpe track expertly prepared by Mike Truman, was just part of the story created at a superb round three of the AMCA British Motocross Championship supported by Rokit Tyres. Also making the headlines was an overall win for Leonni Tighe in the Women’s class having her first motocross ride since 2018, Jordan Wright miraculously making the 125cc podium despite a broken wrist and Henry Williams jumping dramatically clear at the top of the MX2 standings..

2026 AMCA British MX Championship R2

Taking out wildcard entries to compete at round two of the AMCA British Motocross Championship last weekend, four young stars who normally ply their trade in the ACU Motul British Championship all certainly shone very brightly! At Bromsberrow, ASA GasGas rider Ben Mustoe switched from his usual 250F mount to contest and win overall the Open class aboard a 350F machine, Freddie Bartlett went the other way dropping from his ACU MX1 ride to win the Bromsberrow MX2 class which also included ACU rider Max Harris on the Dirthut Yamaha. Harris eventually finished runner-up behind Bartlett whilst Arthur Moore stuck to his normal 125cc mount and thus top the overall Youth standings.
