2026 Weymouth Beach Motocross

With the track build complete thanks to the generosity and skill of BNH Plant hire along with the required preparation and organisation done that meant it was now time to go racing at the 2026 Weymouth Beach motocross promoted by the Purbeck MXC in conjunction with the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club.

Weymouth are you ready for some serious sand surfing?

It’s the Weymouth Beach motocross this coming weekend, October 10^th/11^th promoted by those great guys at Purbeck MXC in conjunction with the Weymouth and Portland Lions Club. As usual following a partial track build on Saturday, some of the Purbeck members will take to the beach in the afternoon and present a small motocross demonstration. Also, on both Saturday and Sunday look out for that famous Beach motocross Gorilla Mr Andy Hobbs, who will be up to his mischief and entertaining you with tricks aboard his trusty red Honda quad.

2026 AMCA Motocross of Clubs

The Potteries MXC are the new AMCA Motocross of Clubs champions following Sunday’s 2026 event held at Boraston, Shropshire and promoted by the Teme Valley MXC. Following three blocks of highly competitive action, Potteries who had finished 3^rd in 2025 this year took honours six points better off than Worfield with Wrekin in 3^rd and Burntwood Barracudas 4^th. In a contest featuring 13 AMCA clubs, the Potteries were certainly good value for their win, topping the Vet’s Over 40’s class, finishing runners-up in both the Experts and Seniors and taking 6^th in the Juniors.

Who will be crowned the AMCA Motocross of Clubs Champions!

With most of the AMCA individual motocross honours already decided, it’s time to go team racing this coming Sunday, 27^th September as riders gather for the second staging of the AMCA Motocross of Clubs. The venue for the action hosted by the Teme Valley MXC is Boraston near Tenbury Wells, WR15 8NB and it’s sure to be a thriller!

2026 AMCA British MX Championship R7 at Warmingham Lane

Race with your head not heart, keep one step ahead of your closest rivals and don’t record a dreaded DNF, that was surely the battle instructions for riders closing in on the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship titles. And, in the final round of the series supported by Rokit Tyres at Warmingham Lane last weekend it’s fair to say that just about all of the series leaders perfectly executed and followed those battle instructions to thus safely bring the glory home!

The curtain comes down this weekend August 8^th/9^th on the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship supported by Rokit Tyres and it’s certainly going to be a tense, exciting and certainly very interesting affair in several of the classes! Hosted by the Middlewich MXC at their popular Warmingham Lane circuit there’s just four moto’s to be contested until the destination of the titles will be confirmed!

2026 AMCA British MX Championship R6 at Seven Hills

Run to the hills was the order for the weekend but which one? For the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship riders it meant that they faced a very big dilemma and had to answer the question, should they go to the mega MXGP at Foxhills or instead get on their bikes and race at Seven Hills! With a maximum 100 Championship points potentially obtainable by racing in what was the penultimate round of the AMCA series, a rider could significantly improve their position in the standings and maybe even fire themselves right back into title contention! And, indeed by choosing Seven Hills over Foxhills there was come Sunday night to be some notable movers and shakers to report in the battle for 2026 AMCA honours!

Once there though and on the start line, to then have the ability to produce top results and maybe bag a podium spot is a whole different scenario! On Sunday during round 5 of the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship, most of the leading contenders in this year’s title races did manage to produce the goods, getting the outcomes they were hoping for and thus ensuring that they are now ready to push on towards the series finishing line.

Great racing with many of the verdicts going right down to the wire was the story from a super round four of the AMCA British Motocross championship held at Lower Drayton. Moto after moto and in all classes, battles raged right throughout the pack with vital Championship points at stake as the 2026 series passed its midway point. How can I start?

This all depends on what discipline you want to start with – some require you to take a licence whilst others are more flexible and allow you to turn up and ride. Once you have opted for a discipline, see the FAQ for more tailored questions.

What is the difference between motocross, enduro, and trials?

These are all different disciplines the AMCA caters for, along with much more. Motocross is fast paced, short races over both natural and man-made terrain with 36 riders going into a first corner. Enduro is more long distance, long duration events, usually through woodland. Trials is slow paced, technical, balance based over challenging short course with the object to go through without putting your foot on the floor.
