2026 AMCA British MX Championship R7 at Warmingham Lane

Race with your head not heart, keep one step ahead of your closest rivals and don’t record a dreaded DNF, that was surely the battle instructions for riders closing in on the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship titles. And, in the final round of the series supported by Rokit Tyres at Warmingham Lane last weekend it’s fair to say that just about all of the series leaders perfectly executed and followed those battle instructions to thus safely bring the glory home!

Get ready for a Warmingham title finale thriller!

The curtain comes down this weekend August 8^th/9^th on the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship supported by Rokit Tyres and it’s certainly going to be a tense, exciting and certainly very interesting affair in several of the classes! Hosted by the Middlewich MXC at their popular Warmingham Lane circuit there’s just four moto’s to be contested until the destination of the titles will be confirmed!

2026 AMCA British MX Championship R6 at Seven Hills

Run to the hills was the order for the weekend but which one? For the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship riders it meant that they faced a very big dilemma and had to answer the question, should they go to the mega MXGP at Foxhills or instead get on their bikes and race at Seven Hills! With a maximum 100 Championship points potentially obtainable by racing in what was the penultimate round of the AMCA series, a rider could significantly improve their position in the standings and maybe even fire themselves right back into title contention! And, indeed by choosing Seven Hills over Foxhills there was come Sunday night to be some notable movers and shakers to report in the battle for 2026 AMCA honours!

Whether you love it or loathe it, the chance to compete at the iconic Hawkstone Park must surely be top of any motocross riders wish list! Once there though and on the start line, to then have the ability to produce top results and maybe bag a podium spot is a whole different scenario! On Sunday during round 5 of the 2026 AMCA British Motocross Championship, most of the leading contenders in this year’s title races did manage to produce the goods, getting the outcomes they were hoping for and thus ensuring that they are now ready to push on towards the series finishing line.

Moto after moto and in all classes, battles raged right throughout the pack with vital Championship points at stake as the 2026 series passed its midway point. Yes, it was a treat for the spectators with the stand-out entertainment arguably being provided by some stunning 125cc and MX2 action!

2026 AMCA British MX Championship R3

Great racing which saw battles continually raging right throughout the pack in just about every moto, all made possible by a Brookthorpe track expertly prepared by Mike Truman, was just part of the story created at a superb round three of the AMCA British Motocross Championship supported by Rokit Tyres. Also making the headlines was an overall win for Leonni Tighe in the Women’s class having her first motocross ride since 2018, Jordan Wright miraculously making the 125cc podium despite a broken wrist and Henry Williams jumping dramatically clear at the top of the MX2 standings..

2026 AMCA British MX Championship R2

Taking out wildcard entries to compete at round two of the AMCA British Motocross Championship last weekend, four young stars who normally ply their trade in the ACU Motul British Championship all certainly shone very brightly! At Bromsberrow, ASA GasGas rider Ben Mustoe switched from his usual 250F mount to contest and win overall the Open class aboard a 350F machine, Freddie Bartlett went the other way dropping from his ACU MX1 ride to win the Bromsberrow MX2 class which also included ACU rider Max Harris on the Dirthut Yamaha. Harris eventually finished runner-up behind Bartlett whilst Arthur Moore stuck to his normal 125cc mount and thus top the overall Youth standings.

How can I start?

This all depends on what discipline you want to start with – some require you to take a licence whilst others are more flexible and allow you to turn up and ride. Once you have opted for a discipline, see the FAQ for more tailored questions.

What is the difference between motocross, enduro, and trials?

These are all different disciplines the AMCA caters for, along with much more. Motocross is fast paced, short races over both natural and man-made terrain with 36 riders going into a first corner. Enduro is more long distance, long duration events, usually through woodland. Trials is slow paced, technical, balance based over challenging short course with the object to go through without putting your foot on the floor.
