Following round 5 of the IMBA European Sidecar Championship held at Attenhoven in Belgium on Sunday, British duo Jack Etheridge/Scott Grahame still lead the chase for the 2016 title.
During the latest action, Etheridge took 4th overall and with it another 137 vital points. George Kinge/Zac Snell produced another very strong IMBA performance for 6th overall with Dan Foden/Joshua Haynes 10th, Michael Hodges/Liam Hodges 11th, Sam Osbaldiston/Nathan Cooper 14th and David Keane/Paul Horton 17th.
In the title standings, Etheridge's is now 62 points clear of Belgian Christian Corthouts/Dagwin Sabbe with just one event to come at Oss in Holland on September 25th. Kinge in 6th and Foden 8th are also inside the Championship top ten. Let's hope the super Brits can master the Dutch sand and finish a great season in style!
German IMBA MX1
There was also IMBA action for the AMCA Team Great Britain MX1 riders on Sunday as they travelled to Ohlenberg in Germany. Best performer was to be Sam Smith in 13th place with Scott Bates 15th, Ed Briscoe 19th and Joshua Scott 21st. Taking the win on the day was home German rider Pascal Pronen but with three rounds still to come in France, Holland and Switzerland its Danish pilot Jim Sorensen now leading the title chase.
