PDFPrintE-mail

The AMCA has a long and proud history of producing top sidecar teams with some areas of the country having high concentrations of ‘outfits’. Glossop in Derbyshire was one such region with a multitude of top flight pairings emerging in the 60’s and 70’s. The small, close-knit community of AMCA sidecar teams today compete at events across the country, often appearing as the ‘headline’ or ‘main’ event. Always very popular with spectators the often spectacular sidecar form of off-road sport is present in Motocross, Enduro, Trials and Classic Scrambles. The three-wheeled version of the sports requiring considerable skill and bravery.

Joining an AMCA club…

Within the AMCA several clubs ‘specialise’ in catering to sidecar teams, and are always very welcoming of any new ‘outfits’ looking to be a part of this exciting sport. For further information on licences see the ‘Motocross’ section of this website and for your nearest club refer to the ‘Find a Club’ section of this website.
