Start Classic Scrambles: Join a club & get an AMCA licence

PDFPrintE-mail

In essence Classic Scrambling is what motocross used to be. Harking back to the Golden Era of British manufacturers classic scrambling is focused around machines made prior to 1965. Names such as BSA, Matchless, Greeves and Triumph dominate a sport which has exploded in popularity in the last decade as increasingly ‘exotic’ replica bikes are drawing ever younger riders into the fray to take on those who are still competing well into their seventies. A multitude of classes cater for all vintages along with the more ‘modern’ twin-shock categories. The emphasis in this sport is on fun with its laid back atmosphere attracting families of all ages who often will make a weekend of the event at venues around the country.

Joining an AMCA club…

This particular brand of off-road racing is bringing people of all ages back into the sport in their droves not just in the UK but across Europe and the globe. A Classic scramble Licence costs £50.00 including insurance. For further information on your nearest club refer to the ‘Find a Club’ section of this website.
