Round 2 of the 2011 Women’s Championship takes place this weekend May 22nd at Cressage clubs picturesque Bicton track, with round 3 next weekend May 29th at Sandbach clubs Warmington Lane track.
Leonie Smith will be looking to take full honours once again after her emphatic round one win’s at Stenson earlier this month. South Shropshire group riders Melissa Griffin and Emily Jones will be looking to take home group advantage , although competition is fierce throughout the whole of this class.
The Bicton track, overlooking the river severn, gave the riders plenty of challenges in last year’s final round and this year will be no different with the club having made a few interesting changes.
The Women’s races will be supported by a full entry across the inters, junior, senior and experts from the South Shropshire Group. The track is situated just outside of Shrewsbury on the B4380 Holyhead Road, Bicton with racing commencing at 10.30
