Claire Bennett sends us this story regarding a very brave Inter-Juniors rider Harrison Buckley who despite currently fighting a serious illness is still very determined to continue competing in AMCA motocross!!.
The Buckley family would like to extend their thanks to riders and families of the North Shropshire- North Wales group who have shown them kindness following their son Harrison being diagnosed with lymphoma. On hearing that Harrison was ill the group raised funds to purchase gifts for him and the family including a television for his bedroom for him to enjoy his computer games on while he rests following chemotherapy treatment.
The family have been overwhelmed by the get well wishes he has received, Harrison is a popular member of the group and has ridden in the inter juniors for two years, last season he was excited to ride Hawkstone Park as part of the AMCA calendar and looks forward to returning to racing next season.
His dad, Simon Buckley said he was overwhelmed by the kindness which has been shown to them by the motocross community and the family could not thank everyone enough for how they have responded on hearing that Harrison was unwell
