The AMCA has launched a credit crunch busting deal to help cash strapped riders! "A" licences from 24th July are just £70 for Adult and £58 for Youth.
THERE ARE LESS RIDERS TAKING PART IN MOTOCROSS EVENTS THIS YEAR ACROSS ALL ORGANISATIONS THAN IN RECENT YEARS, PRIMARILY DUE TO THE DEEP RECESSION THE UK HAS BEEN STUCK IN AND THE RESULTANT EXTORTIONATE FUEL PRICES, TO SAY NOTHING OF THE VAT HIKE, COST OF LIVING INCREASES ETC ALL BITING CHUNKS OUT OF THE WORKING FAMILY’S LEISURE MONEY.
Motocross is not alone in it’s plight; football clubs across the land have sold fewer season tickets and gate receipts are down across a whole host of attractions.
But the AMCA are not an organisation that will stand by and see riders struggle to afford to take out licences, they have recognised that there is a problem and are looking to provide discounts to ensure that cash strapped riders can get back on their bikes and enjoy motocross without breaking the bank!
In previous years discounts have been available from 1st July for riders taking a licence part way through the year – this has been brought forward to 1st May with a sliding scale of reductions introduced to make taking out a licence the best option for those serious about motocross.
