Lee Dunham takes the AMCA Superclass title

Maxxis Henderson LPE Kawasaki rider Lee Dunham has won the first major AMCA motocross title of 2011.
During the second and deciding Superclass Championship round held at Whalley Nab in Lancashire on Sunday,Lee posted a 1/1/2 scorecard to leave him on a final total of 338 points.Richard Cannings started the meeting on level terms with Dunham,but a disasterous moto two when he fell twice ruined his chances of snatching the title.In the final standings,Cannings had to settle instead for 2nd overall ahead of Clinton Barrs,Jack Taylor,James Lane and Michael Reynolds.
