2-Stroke & Vets Title Decider

All roads lead to Condover, near Shrewsbury this weekend as the AMCA 2-Stroke and Veterans Championships reach their final rounds, and what a thriller it promises to be!!. Incredibly after 14 hotly contested moto's, just a few points separates the riders battling it out at the top of the two-smokers table.
Currently leading the way is Kawasaki rider Adam Harris on 772 with KTM pilot Sean Eckersley in 2nd spot on 751. It's equally as tight in the Veterans class with with Brian Staples, Matt Ryder and Colin Conduit.
Back to the 2-Stroke aces, and Gloucestershire based Harris has won nine moto's in the series so far with Eckersley(2), Matthew Williamson(2) and Alec Everitt the other riders who have enjoyed the taste of a race win during the Championship chase. With Eckersley and Harris though so dominant in this series, current 3rd placed rider Thomas Herbert is already a number of points in arrears and can really only defend his present standing by repelling Marcus Carter and Sean Wainwright.
In the Veterans class, Staples, Ryder, Conduit, Sean Smith, Stephen Baddeley, Graham Nicklin, Simon Bracey and Paul Kroner are all mathematically in with a final top three placing. However realistically, the eventual Champion looks most likely to come from either Staples, Ryder who are both tied on points, Conduit or Smith. Whatever happens though, three very interesting moto's are definitely on the cards at Condover!!.So get yourself along there and watch more great AMCA Championship action unfold.
