Narberth classic have now got a new date for their International Classic Scramble that was postponed in July.
The new date is the 14th October, lets hope the weather is drier than it was in july.
The track at West Atheston Farm, Narberth has undergone some improvements, it has been graded since the wet meeting meeting haled in the spring.
The club has decided to make this a one day event with entertainment, food and licensed bar available to everyone on the Saturday evening. We would like to be able to present a sizeable cheque to the Wales Air Ambulance from the proceeds of the event, any businesses or individuals who would like to sponsor this international event would be most welcome.
The event incorporates the welsh grand prix for solos and sidecars, trophies will be awarded for the top three, plus class awards. Also there will be races for the Mel Carter and Garnet Bowen memorial trophies, plus a round of the Paul Jarold tyres British Thumper Series.
The solo and sidecar class will also be the final round of the Cambrian Tyres & Anslows Coaches sponsored Welsh Classic Championship.
All entrys are welcome including Twinshock & Sidecar.
The only rules for sidecars are Twinshock suspension, four stroke, air cooled & unlimited cc. Rotaxs welcome.
A number of riders from Northern & Southern Ireland have expressed interest in the event, we hope for a sizeable entry from the continent.
