Warmingham, Rockhampton, Abbotts Bromley, Foxhills, Yarley and Saron cancelled for 6th & 7th May
Written by AMCA OFFICE Tuesday, 01 May 2012 00:00
Unfortunatley due to the severe weather, some AMCA tracks for this weekend have become a victim of the rain downpour and have been forced to cancel.
Riders entered into the two events are free to enter any other events this weekend on a transferred entry - please phone to book your entry with the event secretary. For other events and contact details, please click here.
Events Eastbourne at Foxhills, Sandbach at Warmingham, Gloucester at Rockhampton, Chester at Saron, Cannock at Abbotts Bromley, Bristol at Yarley are cancelled for Sunday 6th May and Monday 7th May where applicable.
It is very disapointing that the AMCA Opening Round of the Championships have been forced to cancel, but with heavy downpoors and severe weather warnings forecast for the area, including other National events in the area cancelling, the AMCA have taken the decision as early as possible to allow riders to make alternative arrangements. This means the MX1/MX2 Championship opener will now be on the 10th June at the popular sand circuit of Long Lane.
Further announcements for the a replacement date for the 2Stroke and Vets round will be announcemnets as soon as reasonably possible.
Wrekin at Castle Caerinion is still running. However, the Wrekin event is now full so please do not phone for a late entry/transfer.
As there are more cancellations than expected, riders in the cancelled events who do not transfer will be automatically refunded within 14days - this applies to the cancelled events only. There is no need to send in a request for refund for this these events on the 6th May with one exception - the Chester event as all riders booked into Chester have been redirected to Wrekin at Castle Caerinion. If these riders wish to be refunded, then you will have to complete a request for refund form.
Riders will not be charged any extra to ride on a transfer to other events still running.
