Shrewsbury Motocross Club is on the lookout for new members for the 2012 season.
Now in its 36th year, the club is one of the most established in Shropshire, and ahead of the new season has completed extensive track renovations to its track at Condover, a former IMBA MX1 venue.
‘We are looking forward to a good season’s racing’ stated club chairman Nick Bull. ‘We performed a lot of work at Condover over the Christmas holiday period and the result is an exciting, challenging track’
The club plans to run 4 meetings at Condover during 2012 and with most work on the track already completed, work parties during the year are expected to be minimal with only minor tasks required prior to race meetings.
Both existing and new riders are welcome to join. Club meetings take place every Monday at 8pm, at the Four Crosses pub, Bicton near Shrewsbury. For more details call club secretary Jon Lakin, 01743 861030, or visit www.shrewsburymx.co.uk
