2011 SERIES
The first three places in the relevant classes are as follows (trophies down to sixth place)

2012 SERIES
In 2012 the classes will be as follows:-
Pre 65 (to include Pre 60,Metisse, and Pre Unit) There will be a Cup for the Best Pre 60 – the winner will be deemed to be the Pre60 Champion.
Pre 68 up to 350cc (Cup for Best 250)
Pre 68 Unlimited (over 350cc)
Pre 74 up to 250cc
Pre 74 over 250cc
Twin Shocks. ( Cup for Best 250cc)
Sidecars. (Awards down to Sixth Place)
Trophies will be awarded down to 3rd place (except Sidecars)
The points system is to change to:- 15, 12, 10 8,6,5,4,3,2,1.
If at the end of the race if a rider has been lapped they will be credited with the relevant points. However if they DNF they will not score any points.
Riders who wish to take part in the Championship, are required to register by 31 Mar 12. Registration forms are available on the website www.classicmotocrosswales.co.uk.
There are to be seven rounds for classic solos. They are :-
22 Apr – Narberth
13 May – Mid Wales
20 May – Teifiside
3 Jun - Chester
22 Jul – Narberth (also Welsh GP)
23 Sep – Llantony
30 Sep – Border (to be confirmed)
Sidecars and Twinshocks will also be included, where Clubs wish to include them, and there will be other rounds in other Clubs – so participants in these two classes need to be aware of which Clubs will be involved. Mike Fitch and Brian Bodfish are to issue dates and venues in due course.
Awards Presentation Dinner. This is to be held on Sat 10 Mar 12 at Lord Moreton Hotel, Gledrid, CHIRK LL14 5DG. Details available from Ed Morris, Border Classic, who is organising the dinner for the2011 series. The Guest of Honour is Neil Griffiths, former Welsh Champion in 1977, 1979 and 1981 in addition to other international honours.
