AMCA giant jackpot at the International Dirt Bike Show

PDFPrintE-mail

The AMCA has unveiled plans for a competition it will be running on its stand at the International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh Park in November.

Organised in conjunction with specialist motorsport insurance brokers, Lockton, the free-to-enter prize draw has a massive prize fund value of £50,000. Some of the prizes are still to be finally determined, but headlining the list is a brand new Citroen DS4 car valued at £20,000, a Kawasaki KXF250, motocross kit together with machine and rider accessories worth £20,000, a family holiday and motocross holiday package, a free AMCA motocross licence and entries for 2012, off-track bike insurance and personal accident insurance courtesy of Lockton. There is also £500 cash included in the mix.

The off-road sport organisation AMCA needs little in the way of introduction to off-road riders, however, Lockton, which is the largest privately-owned insurance broker in the world, may not be so familiar to the masses. The company offers a range of insurance packages including event coverage for large associations, such as the AMCA, and race clubs, all the way through to single rider personal accident and machine cover.

The prize draw will take place on the AMCA’s stand on the Sunday of the Show, where the sealed box will be opened by an independent adjudicator. The only way to enter the competition, and to find out more about the work of the AMCA and Lockton, is to visit this year’s International Dirt Bike Show on any of the four days spanning Thursday 3rd through to Sunday 6th November 2011.

Commenting on the Show-only prize draw, organiser Joanne Watson said; “Obviously, we believe there are already many reasons for off-road fans to visit this year’s Show, with the major manufacturers and distributors already confirmed, plenty of visitor interactive features and action, contemporary and classic bargains to be found in the Show retail area and weekend EvoShock Moto Jumble and ultra-low cost ticket options to boot. If ever another incentive was needed to visit Stoneleigh Park this November, then perhaps this astonishing AMCA and Lockton initiative could be just that.”

Advance tickets are now on sale and the box office will remain open until 9pm on Monday 31st October, just three days before the Show actually opens. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office on 0844 581 0735, or by following the ticket link at www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk
