Resource Centre North Wales / North Shropshire Team Race

The AMCA’s Flintshire Club staged the annual North Shropshire / North Wales Group team race at Peacock’s Hey on Sunday 25th September. Following a slow start, the Flintshire Club ran a fantastic event with some close and action packed racing from Inters to Experts!
The Flintshire Club have won the Team Race for a few years in succession and for 2011 had high hopes of retaining the title! There were 4 riders who took place from each of the Clubs within the popular NSNW Group, which includes Chester, Flintshire, Market Drayton, Mold, Nantwich, Oswestry, Telford, Wem, Shawbury, and the Wirral Motocross Clubs. Some seriously thrilling racing took place, and it was the impressive Mold and District Club who gathered enough points to take them into first spot taking home the big trophy, which means the Club will next year be hosting the annual event at their popular hillside venue of Babell, North Wales.Pictured are:

Mold Club Chairman, Nigel Seaburg commented, “we were overwhelmed with the result and a massive thanks must go out to the Flintshire Club for hosting the event”.
