One of the founding clubs in the AMCA, Moseley Classic has taken the ground breaking step to be the first AMCA Classic Scrambles club to offer riders a new online entry and payment system.
The club who first heard about the system at the Classic AGM and Fixture meeting in November 2010 promptly came forward and volunteered to trial the system for their forthcoming Classic Event on thne 4th September 2011. The event will be at the popular classic venue of Hanbury in Worcestershire.
The system is fully operational for AMCA’s modern events but this is the first time it will be used for a Classic event.
The club whose history actually predates the AMCA and has been actively involved in off road since the twenties, hope that it will help reduce the administration pre their event for the officials and possibly encourage more riders due to the ease of which they can now enter.
Riders should go to the above fixture links and click on the Classic Fixtures link. The system enables a rider to book in and pay the entry fee with a credit or debit card within a matter of minutes. All existing AMCA classic licence holders have been issued with a username and password but if they need a reminder they can email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and Steve Harvey or James Harrison will email them back with their details.
Of course for those riders who prefer to submit a paper entry this is still available and should be sent direct to Andy Fowlie as previous (form can be downloaded fixtures, the classic entry downloads page).
All non-licence holders can still enter online for the event by registering with details on the system. At the login screen, just select the register link.
The club is offering the event at the very competitively priced entry fee of £25 for solo licence holders, £35 for sidecars, £35 for non-licence holders, £45 for non-licence holder sidecars. The event is now open to online bookings and allows riders to book in at a time which suits them 24 hours a day – so get online and book your space on the line now!
