Savage Shropshire Charity trial triumph
Written by STU WILLIAMS Saturday, 07 November 2009
Local Shropshire rider Jack Savage finished on top at his clubs Charity Trial held at Morgans Coppice farm early in November.
The real interest on the day in the AMCA Experts was perhaps on who would finish runner-up with Dean Littlehales and Andy Onions locked on equal points – on the countback it was Littlehales that had the edge. Rob Badland had a reasonably comfortable win in the Clubman over Robert Mycock while Clive Parry was the best of the Novices. There was a strong showing of Guest riders with Kevin Taylor the lowest scoring Expert with Buster Regan getting the nod over Tom Minta in the tussle for second. David Cunnington won the Clubman while Tony Field picked up just a single dab to win the Novices with Mathew Cunnington the best beginner.
