PDFPrintE-mail

Written by DAVE GITTINS Friday, 02 July 2010

There were tropical temperatures for the start of the 29th British Bike Bonanza in Gloucestershire last weekend and they stayed that way throughout the whole weekend.  Keeping to a tried and tested formula there were two classic trials on Saturday (Bonanza trial and Rickman British Bike Championship trial), and a classic scramble on Sunday which included the Rickman British Bike championship. And with counter-attractions like the World Cup, Wimbledon, Glastonbury and Formula 1, as well as the heat, the attendance was down on previous years.

The Bath club’s first classic scramble of the season at Yatton Keynell last Sunday looked like being a wet one. Heavy rain overnight on Saturday created one or two problems in practise. Written by DAVE GITTINS Thursday, 29 April 2010

OK so it maybe a little late, but just have a look at the superbly descriptive report from David Gittins and images from Mike Meadows that captures the unique atmosphere that can only be generated by the magic that is Red Marley!!. The legend that is Red Marley 2010 had begun.
