Many congratulations to Ray Rowson (Apex Geartec KTM) on wrapping up the 2017 IMBA MX2 European Championship at Kleinhau on Sunday.
And there’s no doubt that the Apex Geartec KTM ace has fully deserved that success, proving that consistency is certainly the key to winning. In the IMBA European series, Ray finished on the podium in all seven rounds, taking the crown 104 points ahead of fellow Brit Josh Waterman (JD Racing/IDS KTM) another rider who has enjoyed a fantastic season.
In what as been a history making campaign for AMCA riders competing in the IMBA European Championships, Team Great Britain were at it again on Sunday as the MX2, Sidecar and Ladies series all reached their conclusions. At Kleinhau in Germany, Ray Rowson(Apex Geartec KTM) wrapped up the MX2 title with fellow Brit Josh Waterman(JD Racing IDS KTM) taking the silver medal. Taking top honours on the day was another Brit, Lewis King(TMC Kawasaki). In the Sidecar racing at Kleinhau, Tony Grahame/Harley Lloyd produced a superb performance to climb the podium in 2nd overall.
Across in Switzerland, Bethany Farmer was finishing her season off with a fantastic 3rd overall during the final round of the IMBA Ladies European Championship held at Amriswil. Well done to all AMCA Team Great Britain riders on their performances throughout the 2017 IMBA series.
