The AMCA Annual General Meeting took place on 10th March, 22 clubs were represented and a further 13 clubs submitted proxy votes.
Three Directors joined the Board for a three year period; Jonathan Williams, Chris Harrison and Craig Chamberlain.
Don Green, long term Director and Chairman chose the co-option route and continues on the Board for a further twelve months.
Don stood down as Chairman and at the Director’s meeting that followed the AGM Mike Penn was elected as AMCA Chairman with Dave Morris as Deputy Chairman.
Terry King was announced as AMCA President but unfortunately was unable to attend due to ill health, a letter from Terry and his wife Linda was read out at the meeting expressing their gratitude to the AMCA for recognising Terry’s contribution over a period of 35 years. Five new clubs were accepted into the Association.
Many delegates also stayed on for a Motocross Committee Meeting. The incoming Chairman, Mike Penn would like to thank all those who attended the AGM and Motocross Committee Meeting, some of whom had travelled several hours to be there and is looking forward to a successful 2018 season across all disciplines.
