The Skegness beach race has grown into one of the largest off-road events in the UK since it's inception in 2010. The event regularly attracts crowds well in excess of 20,000 people over a single weekend. The event is scheduled for 10th and 11th November with races for solo's, quads and sidecars.
The winner of the Adult Solo will pick up £1,000, which has previously been taken home by the likes of Milko Potisek, Nez Parker, Nathan Watson, Dan Thornhill and James Hutchinson.
The ninth annual Skegness beach race is supported by Visit Lincs Coast BID and Magna Vitae Trust for Leisure – both organisations are helping to further develop the event to increase rider and spectator numbers.
The AMCA have been working closely with East Lindsey District Council and the East Lindsey Event Safety Advisory Group to ensure that this event can be held in a manner that compliments the town and supports the local economy by bringing people to Skegness during the closed season in a safe and responsible manner. The East Lindsey District Council have supported the event from the start and have provided a huge amount of support and sponsorship.
Spectating is free, but the public car parks are Council managed and seasonal charges will apply. Specialist trade stands as well as beachside food concessions will be open!
